The four books; Vampire Academy, Vampire Academy: Frostbite, Vampire Academy: Shadow Kiss, and Vampire Academy: Blood Promise, are all part of a new and interesting supernatural world. New twists on the vampire folk lore set this series apart from other popular books in the same genre. With dynamic characters and an emotional plot, makes this series a gripping read from cover to cover. The characters are easy to relate to and are plagued with common teenage problems like peer pressure and depression and a few uncommon ones. I recommend this series to any teen looking for a good action or romance story, because this one has a great mix of both.
